Introducing MySpiroo

Forced vital capacity (FVC), Forced expiratory volume (FEV), Peak expiratory flow (PEF), Maximum voluntary ventilation (MVV), Slow vital capacity (SVC), Total lung capacity (TLC), Functional residual capacity (FRC), Residual volume (RV), Expiratory reserve volume (ERV) or peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) all these measurements, are very important, and will meet our deviceIt correlates with the degree of the obstruction in the airways, which allows to recognize possible health problems before the actual symptoms manifest themselves.

A peak flow meter is a medical instrument that measures the PEF and PEFR. It was introduced in the 1950s by Basil Martin Wright and since then it became a popular and easy-to-use technique to monitor patients with asthma and to optimize their treatment.

The MySpiroo is a spirometer, a device which helps to control asthma, reduces the number of exacerbations and protects from life-threatening attacks.

We created a mobile spirometer

The problem

The real health problem

There are 300 million people suffering from asthma worldwide.  It is a chronic disease, which requires regular self-monitoing and strict control of medication. Apart from watching for signs and symptoms, including coughs and wheezes, doctors advise their patients to perform PEF checks on a regular basis and to record the results.

MySpiroo is the answer to the problem.

The ultraportable spirometer which connects to your smartphone.
